"Lake of the Woods" is located in northwestern Ontario, Canada.  This clear water lake has 65,000 miles of rocky shoreline, over 14,000 islands and surrounded by dense forest.  This premier sport fishery contains walleye, sauger, northern pike, lake trout, bass, crappie, perch and muskie.   This is by far one of the best fishing areas in all of North America.  Although the area is sparsely populated, it is easily accessible by automobile and has many resorts that cater to both the fisherman and families. - TD
